'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden important trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
